Oracle launches a Cloud region in Spain

The launch of this new region was held on September 20 in a virtual meeting with the participation of some of the company’s most important clients and partners such as Accenture, Deloitte, Kyndryl, Mapfre, Naturgy, Telefónica Tech, and the startups ELEM Biotech, Klimatribe and Swearit.

The experts participating in the event will analyze what Oracle’s opening of a Cloud region in Spain will mean for their respective companies and how it will benefit their businesses and operations, as well as accelerate the digital transformation processes in which they are immersed.

Telefónica will be in charge of hosting Oracle’s Cloud region in its infrastructures in Madrid. The new region will be designed to provide Spanish customers in both the public and private sectors with a comprehensive set of cloud services with low latency, high performance and the highest security standards.

With the opening of the new Cloud Spain region, Oracle’s proximity to Spanish customers will be clearly reinforced, which will improve the agility of response.
