Each of Swearit’s QR codes are specifically designed to represent you!. We’ve created a system for easy tracking, not only will it show you how things were produced but also where.

EU Digital Product Passport

The EU Digital Product Passport is a digital record that provides transparent information about a product’s lifecycle, sustainability, and compliance, however, this simplified version is not fully compliant as it can also include marketing links and promotional content.

Under the EU DPP:

  • Product identification (name, model, SKU, origin)
  • Manufacturer/importer details
  • Materials and composition (including recycled content)
  • Environmental and sustainability data
  • Compliance and regulatory details
  • Supply chain traceability
  • End-of-life and recycling guidance
  • Marketing links (e.g. product pages, social media, related items)

A generic Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a digital record that captures key information about a product’s lifecycle, sustainability, and usage to improve transparency and traceability; it include elements such as marketing links and brand content.

Under the Digital Product Passport:

  • Product identification (name, model, SKU, origin)
  • Manufacturer/brand details
  • Materials and composition
  • Sustainability and environmental information
  • Supply chain or sourcing details
  • Basic compliance or quality information
  • End-of-life guidance (reuse, recycling, disposal)
  • Marketing links (e.g. shop page, social media, related products)

US Digital Product Passport

A US-focused Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a digital record that provides key information about a product’s lifecycle, materials, usage, and sustainability for transparency within the US market, it is not governed by a single federal framework and can include more flexible elements such as marketing links and brand content.

Under US DPP:

  • Product identification (name, model, SKU, origin)
  • Manufacturer/brand details
  • Materials and composition
  • Sustainability and environmental information
  • Supply chain or sourcing details
  • Basic compliance or safety information (e.g. US standards where applicable)
  • End-of-life guidance (reuse, recycling, disposal)
  • Marketing links (e.g. product pages, social media, related items)

EU Labeling Compliance

EU labelling compliance QR codes are used to give direct access to mandatory product information required under EU regulations. It ensures transparency, traceability, and compliance, these QR codes must link to structured, non-promotional data, meaning they should not include marketing links if they are intended to be fully compliant.
